Buzz Thompson has been a professional musician for over thirty-five years. He has toured with Ronnie Hawkins for the past 13 years as a featured singer and lead guitarist. He also adds harmonica to his list of many talents. Buzz is well known to musicians in both North America and Europe. He has recorded with Ronnie Hawkins, The Band, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins Kris Kristofferson and Jeff Healey. He has also played alongside Domenic Trioano and George Olliver at a special Tribute to Ronnie Hawkins in 2003.
His first CD, “Find Out For Yourself” is a classic mixture of R&B and includes his original soul searching heart warming song “Find Out For Yourself.” His second CD is a compilation of 13 original songs, composed and arranged by Buzz Thompson and his wife Jeanne. The second CD “It’s Yesterday Once More” is a real mixture of music…guaranteed to take you to the heights and depths of your emotions. Buzz is noted for his “James Brown” primal scream and there is plenty of that in both CD’s.
